Intermediate SUP Skills

You may have your own SUP and enjoy exploring solo or as part of a group. Maybe you’d like to have a go launching and landing through the surf and develop these skills. At this level you would need to be able to paddle competently in some wind, such as force 2/3 and choppy waves. You would ideally be confident in the water and understand the fundamentals of how the weather affects the environment. A grasp of tide tables and planning could be built upon from this level.
